Summer's End Success
Thank you to all who came out to our BBQ fundraiser!
Last Saturday, the District 14 GOP hosted a barbecue fundraiser at the home of one of our volunteers, Tom Moore, and his wife Pamela. It is a beautiful ranch with open spaces, comfortable shade, and plenty of room for the nearly 100 guests who attended that evening. We enjoyed brisket, potato salad, and mac&cheese from Neighbor Tim’s BBQ & Catering, and everyone agreed it was fantastic.
We heard from Republican Party officers, elected officials, and candidates for Eagle City Council. Daniel Murphy took some great pictures of the event and the attendees.

Attendees bid on several great items in the silent auction, including a nice selection of hats:
Tables competed to see who would get the first choice of desserts. The ten tables combined to raise more than $2,000 for the LD14 GOP, and took home some great cake, pie, cookies, and more!
We also conducted a live auction of two beautiful paintings, one of our 40th president Ronald Reagan, and the other this terrific piece from a local artist that was donated by PC-1403 Miguel DeLuna.
In all, LD14 Republicans raised more than $5,000 to support precinct committeemen in organizing their communities, with additional funds available to back Republican candidates and causes as determined by the committee.
Thank you again to all who attended, and especially to the volunteers whose many hours of hard work made this great event possible. I heard a lot of people say we should do it again next year—what do you say?
