Summer is here, which means it’s time to enjoy vacations, participate in fun events, and spend as much time outdoors as possible before autumn arrives.
Your District 14 Republicans will be out and about this summer. Catch us at the following events:
The Emmett Cherry Festival is June 11-14, capped off by the parade on Saturday evening. Come join your Gem County Republicans for this terrific event.
Eagle Fun Days is June 27-28, with the world-famous Wet & Wild Parade on Saturday afternoon. Watch for the LD14 GOP float to drive by well-armed with water!
Rep. Josh Tanner will be hosting a golf tournament on Saturday, June 28 as well. It starts at $125 per person and you can register here.
Many of our LD14 Republicans will be traveling to Pocatello June 20-21 for the Idaho GOP Summer Meeting. LD14 Chairman Brian Almon will join Gem County Chairman Chuck Shambaugh, State Committeeman Steve Holmberg, State Committeewoman Toni Holmberg, and State Youth Chair Leah Vickery in voting on proposed rules and resolutions. You’re welcome to attend to watch party business in person. Click here to register for the event (it’s free!) and purchase tickets to the chairwoman’s luncheon on Saturday afternoon (it’s $25!)
Did you know that the LD14 committee has a treasury? It’s true. We’re looking at various fundraising ideas to better support our committee and our PCs. Pencil in Saturday, September 13 on your calendar for a western-style barbecue in Eagle—stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, we have an Anedot link you can use to donate directly to the committee:
We are looking to raise about $3,000 over the next few months to assist PCs in printing fliers for outreach to their neighborhoods. Precinct committeemen are your link to the world of Idaho politics. They bring important information to voters about legislation while taking voters’ concerns to our state representatives and senators. We appreciate support as we continue to work for the voters of Eagle and Gem County!
Forward this email to your friends and neighbors and ask them to subscribe to stay updated on all the happenings in District 14!
