If the answer to any of these questions is “yes” then mark your calendars for Thursday, August 1, at 2:00pm for the Poll Worker Open House at Ada County Elections.
The address is 400 N Benjamin Ln. Boise, ID 83704. Come meet your elections staff and see a guided tour of Ada County Election Headquarters. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and get an inside look at how our votes are counted in Ada County.
You will also have an opportunity to volunteer to be a poll worker. Here are the requirements:
Be a citizen of the United States
Be at least 16 years old
Attend mandatory training
Ability to read and write in English
Be able to lift 20 lbs.
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Remain politically neutral while serving at the polls
