A big night for LD14, for Idaho, and for America

What an amazing Election Day it was! The people of Idaho turned out to vote in a big way. Not only did we add our voice to the majority of Americans who voted to send Donald Trump back to the White House, we decisively defeated Proposition 1 as well. The measure to radically change our election systems in Idaho was crushed by a more than 2:1 ratio:

Meanwhile, the constitutional amendment ensuring only citizens can vote in any Idaho election also won solidly:

All three of District 14’s Republican legislators won big victories Tuesday night and will return to the Legislature for the 2025 session in January:

I also want to update you on the results from District 15, our neighbors to the southeast. As the campaign season got underway, I asked PCs and volunteers in LD14 to share their time, energy, and money with our candidates in LD15, where we had a chance to make inroads in Boise. Though our Republican challenger for House Seat A fell just short of defeating the incumbent Democrat, Rep. Dori Healey held off a Democratic challenger for Seat B while our Senate candidate Codi Galloway unseated Democratic Sen. Rick Just:
