At this meeting we will learn what is happening in the legislative session as well as get final updates before the Idaho Republican Presidential Caucus coming on March 2.
Representatives Ted Hill and Josh Tanner each released newsletters this week:
From the Desk of Rep. Ted Hill,
Thank you for the continued trust and support to represent District 14 in the Idaho Legislature. It is an honor and duty to serve this community, and it’s one I take seriously.
We will address many of the top issues this session that we’ve heard from our communities including public education and school choice options, public safety, state/government efficiency, infrastructure, and tax relief, among others. All of these decisions will be based on what is right for the state of Idaho to ensure a strong and prosperous future.
Idaho is among the fastest growing states because residents from other states now know what we in Idaho have known for some time – we value strong and safe communities, fiscal conservatism, and freedom for Idahoans to choose the best option for them and their families or businesses.
I encourage you to follow along this session and contact me with questions or concerns about legislation or issues in our community. Thank you for your time and attention to keep Idaho great.
Sincerely,
Representative Ted Hill
Idaho House of Representatives
District 14

Dear friends,
Thank you for signing up for this newsletter. This will keep you updated on what is going on in the Legislature and give you information you need to know to be engaged and effective citizens.
My work on the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee has kept me busy. It’s JFAC’s job to create the budgets that the Legislature must approve before adjourning for the year. We decided to do things differently this time, taking a more active role in setting the budgets of the 180 boards, departments, and commissions that make up your state government. It’s my job to make sure that the voice of the taxpayer is represented in this process so that the money you entrust to us is spent wisely.
