Announcing the 2024 Presidential Caucus
Come choose who Idaho nominates for President of the United States
Fellow Republicans of District 14! We are excited to invite you to the 2024 Idaho GOP Presidential Caucus on March 2. That’s only six weeks away!
Sometime in February you will receive a postcard from the Idaho Republican Party with your caucus location. Bring that card with you to the specified location on March 2 at noon where you will sign in and cast your ballot for the presidential nomination.
Once you’ve checked in you will have an opportunity to listen to recorded speeches from each candidate as well as engage in conversation with your neighbors. Once you’ve made your choice, you can cast your ballot. At that point you can go about your day, or you can stay behind to watch the tabulation. The Republican Party has created a very regimented system for counting ballots and reporting them to the state office, so you can trust that your vote will count.
There will be six caucus locations spread throughout the district:
In Gem County, the caucus will be held at Sweet-Montour School, Emmett Middle School, and Carberry Elementary School.
In Eagle, the caucus will be held at Eagle Middle School, Seven Oaks Elementary School, and the Galileo STEM Academy.
Your postcard will tell you where to vote. Ada County residents can also use this tool to find their own precinct.
In the meantime, District 14 is looking for volunteers. Each location will need 15-20 people to help make the caucus a success. We will need greeters, check-in clerks, and various other helpers throughout the event.
Would you like to volunteer for the caucus? Contact us! We will connect you to your caucus captain and get you plugged in.
Do you own a food truck or other licensed food business and want to sell concessions at the caucus? Contact us!
Are you a candidate for legislature or another elected office? Contact us! We have invited candidates to rent a table at each caucus location to display their literature and signs. This offer is open to all candidates.
We look forward to seeing you at the caucus on March 2. Remember to watch your mailboxes in the middle of February for your invitation postcard!
